Local northwest Ohio pizza places must remain competitive because of the seemingly unlimited supply of pizza chains. Each place must promise fresh ingredients, signature recipes, and appealing menus, and deliver on those promises. They must continue to attract a customer base at the right price.
Arturo's Pizza Kitchen opened in Northwood in 1988. According to its website, Arturo's has a simple solution on how to find a niche within the community: "We've seen pizzerias come and go, but we're still here because we always serve authentic Italian cuisine. We've kept the authentic seasoning and flavor. We also offer it at an affordable price."
