The first annual Mid-Atlantic Italian American Medical Awards dinner will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum, 6825 Norwich Drive, Philadelphia.

The dinner will present “A Taste of Italy,” catered by Luigi & Giovanni Caterers and the Gran Caffe L’Aquila. Admission is $250. The event, hosted by the Hon. Amato Berardi (Italian Parliament (2008-2013), recognizes significant accomplishments of Mid-Atlantic Italian Americans to the medical sciences.
