After spending about a year renovating a nearly century-old building across Washington Boulevard from Regal Hollywood Stadium 11, Bavaro’s Pizza Napoletana & Pastaria has announced plans to open Friday.
The restaurant, specializing in authentic Neapolitan pizza and pasta, will serve lunch and dinner seven days a week. Bavaro’s will also have multiple bars, live music on the outside patio, catering options and private room availability. Owner Dan Bavaro, along with his wife, Anna-Maria, opened their original Bavaro’s restaurant in downtown Tampa in 2009 after relocating from New Jersey. They also have opened a location in St. Petersburg and one at Tampa International Airport.
