We didn't get a chance to post this last week, but we dropped by the future Bella Italy restaurant on South Gloster Street in Tupelo. We were told last Wednesday that it would open "in about two weeks," so that puts is opening sometime next week.
If you'll recall, the building was the former Sam's Southern Eatery, and it was located between Captain D's and Connie's Chicken, across from North Mississippi Medical Center. The building has gotten a paint job, sporting green, white and red, mean to represent the colors of the Italian flag. The green is a little off, however.
