This weekend, as part of the 2013 Year of Italian Culture, Humanities West is helping preserve the legacy of this master by bringing a fascinating lecture and performance series to the Marines' Memorial Theater in San Francisco. Bernini was a master of capturing the narrative moment, evidenced by dynamic masterpieces such as the Apollo and Daphne in Villa Borghese, Rome.
