After months of courting its fourth sister city, Boynton Beach this week hosted representatives from its latest counterpart, Farindola, Italy, and zeroed in on signing into effect a partnership rooted in economy, tourism, the arts and history.
The six-person Italian delegation included Farindola International Arts Festival board members and Farindola’s mayor, Ilario Lacchetta, 33, who in May won reelection. The city sits in east-central Italy, not too far from Rome, and boasts unfettered landscapes.
