Artistic Director Paul Flight leads the 25-voice California Bach Society in a program of Italian works spanning more than 500 years: from Domenico Scarlatti's recently discovered double choir mass, "La Stella," to Verdi's "Ave Maria," to the 20th c. "Messa di Requiem" by Ildebrando Pizzetti and his student Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco's "Romancero Gitano," for choir and solo guitar. Bay Area guitarist Paul Psarras joins the chorus for this program.
