The Italian Cultural Foundation at Casa Belvedere on Staten Island continues its busy summer schedule this month with a Tuscan Farm-to-Table Dinner with Chef Dave on August 17, and Dining al Fresco with Michael Colameco on August 21. And catch some of the most-awarded Italian films at Casa Belvedere's 8 p.m. outdoor screenings starting with "The First Beautiful Thing" on August 1 and "Love, Soccer and Other Catastrophes" on August 8. The movies are in Italian with English subtitles. Admission is free; donations welcome.
And while taking in a culinary event at the Italian Cultural Foundation, check out the beautiful Cucina Colavita at Casa Belvedere, the new state-of-the-art Italian kitchen built with support from Colavita, importer of the leading brand of Italian extra virgin olive oil.
