Chris Colabello was an Assumption College junior when the Red Sox ended their 86-year championship drought by winning the 2004 World Series. Colabello was a big fan of the team and its manager, Terry Francona. He still is.
"I've always been a Tito guy," Colabello said. "I just love the way he goes about his business. I love his passion for the game. I always thought it would be great to play for him someday." That day may come next spring.
