Phyllis Santucci will be honored as Outstanding Member of the Year at the Calabresi in America’s installation dinner and scholarship awards ceremony on Oct. 13 at The Carlisle in Lombard. A member for 16 years, Santucci has been actively involved in many CIAO events, particularly the group’s annual trip to Calabria. “Phyllis continues to spread the message of the Calabresi In America Organization whenever she goes,” event chairman Mario Salerno explains.
“Her ongoing efforts to bring more people into our club is an inspiration to all of us.” Scholarships totaling $20,000 will be bestowed at the event. Tickets are $75 for adults and $25 for children. (708-642-5349)
