Corning (NY) teachers & students to travel to Italy for exchange program

The Corning-San Giovanni Sister Cities Association is sending faculty and students of the Corning-Painted Post Area School District, along with the mayor, to Italy to participate in its exchange program between the Sister Cities this February.

The association will send two high school students, two high school teachers, the superintendent of the school, Michelle Caulfield, and Corning Mayor Bill Boland and his wife, to San Giovanni Valdarno, Italy, on Feb. 15, 2024, as a part of its Sister City exchange agreement. This is the 17th year of the program, the product of an agreement that was signed between the city of Corning, New York, and the city of San Giovanni Valdarno, Italy.
