American giants of fast food and soft drinks support Italy's battle against Covid-19. McDonald's Italy, the Italian branch of the American fast-food chain, has donated €1 million to support the treatment of Coronavirus patients in Milan.
The donation, made together with McDonald's franchisees and the Ronald McDonald Children's Foundation, will go towards helping with the administration of the new hospital being built on the Fiera di Milano site, as well as the purchase of resuscitation machine for the intensive care unit at Milan's Buzzi Hospital.
