Summary of Symposium: Thanks to collaborative efforts between conservators, art historians, scientists and other professionals, Villanova University has recently completed the two-year restoration of a large Baroque painting depicting the "Triumph of David." Speakers will discuss 17th-century painting practice, the provenance and attribution relating to the mysterious work, the restoration process, and the implementation of an interactive website relating to the project.
