Festa Italiana Raleigh 2023—the Greater Triangle’s largest, most diverse, annual celebration of Italian and American Italian culture—moves from the tree-lined streets of Raleigh’s Glenwood South District to the ceremonial center and cultural spine of North Carolina’s Capitol City, the Fayetteville Street Mall, for its 5th annual celebration.
From 11:00 am until 7:00 pm on Saturday September 23, 2023, unfolding north from the main performance stage near the Marriott City Center, incorporating the first blocks on either side of Davie Street off the Mall, to Martin Street, the Fifth Annual Festa Italiana Raleigh will take its rightful place in the civic and commercial heart of the Triangle, featuring culturally relevant chefs, vendors, musicians, merchants, genealogists, and food trucks, as well as select community organizations.
In addition to its new, higher profile location, Festa Italiana Raleigh 2023 will expand the Galbani Culinary Stage, as well as its Zona Bambini, for children’s activities. And for the first time, Festa will be raffling a brand new Vespa!
Festa Italiana Raleigh provides the most comprehensive, annual showcase of authentic Italian and American Italian music, dance, food, and beverage from across the peninsula and throughout the Italian diaspora. Festa is free, welcoming to all, and open to the public. Proceeds beyond event costs will support two independent Triangle charities—Meg’s Smiles Foundation, and Gabi's: Powered by Special Abilities. The past four Festas have contributed just under $45,000 to local charities.
