Together with ASME, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) will host the following round-table discussion panel for IMECE 2019 conference participants in the advanced manufacturing and related conference tracks. THE ITALIAN WAY TO ADVANCED MANUFACTURING - Discussion panel with experts from advanced manufacturing

Moderated Panel Discussion and Reception. Wednesday, November 13, 2019. 6 PM – 8 PM. Salon D, 1st Floor, Marriott Hotel at City Creek, Salt Lake City, Utah - 75 S W Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. This program event will include an exciting debate discussion by ASME members and industry experts from Italy on novel technologies coming out of Italy and the best practices for collaborations between Italian and US companies and research centers in the area of advanced manufacturing. The Advanced Manufacturing Track will also be presenting their Best Paper Awards during the reception.

This event is part of the ITA's INNOVATION DAYS (ID) initiative starting with the ASME IMECE annual conference and exposition in Salt Lake City, Utah the week of November 10th - 14th, 2019 and continuing through 2020. This is the second edition of the ID initiative which aims to reaffirm Italy’s position as a top solution provider to the US while encouraging engagements between some of Italy’s leading companies and universities to create and or further enhance existing partnerships with their US counterparts in commercial and research areas.

The Objectives of Innovation Days are:

Facilitate the creation of both industrial and R&D partnerships
