"Italian Masters Do It Better 2019" Art Basel Party

Dec 06, 2019 535

Friday December 6. 7PM-10PM. 1924 N Miami Ave, Miami, FL 33136. Achille Perilli was born on January 28, 1927, in Rome. Already as a young painter, Perilli was a pioneer of abstract painting in Italy. He helped composed the Forma 1 Manifesto in 1947, designed to restore form to its primacy in art. Perilli's paintings display cubist images which prove to be ambiguous and labrynithine. Achille Perilli, who lives now in Italy, has remained true to his development of geometric irrationality.

Valli Art Gallery showcases works by Italy’s most significant postwar and contemporary masters, including Carlo Battaglia, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Pino Pinelli, Achille Perilli, Alberto Biasi, Mimmo Rotella, Paolo Scirpa, Agostino Bonalumi, Chiara Dynys, Cesare Berlingeri, and Giosetta Fioroni. At Valli Art Gallery, contemporary Italian masters are seen as crucial artistic and intellectual figures within the larger, global history of art.
