Looking to chow down on some Italian fare? A new restaurant has you covered. Called Red Rabbit, the new arrival is located at 788 Grand Ave. in St. Paul. From owners Luke and Tracy Shimp, also of Red Cow, this place features brunch, lunch and dinner menus in a space that includes exposed brick, charred cedar planks and dimly lit fixtures for a cool and relaxed vibe, per its website. This is the second Red Rabbit, with the original restaurant in Minneapolis’ North Loop.
Look for notable menu options like lasagna with house Bolognese and Parmesan; spicy salami pizza with red sauce, chiles, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan and chile honey; and the Italian chopped salad with chicken, chickpeas and artichoke. Here's the full menu. Red Rabbit has gotten an enthusiastic response thus far, with a five-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp.
