"Italian Vibrations," an exhibit of works by six New York City-based Italian immigrant artists, will be at Provenance Center, 165 State St. in New London, until Saturday, April 27.
The show, which is being shown in New London before going to New York, is being presented in conjunction with the observance of the Year of Italian Culture in the United States.
The artists are Antonio Pio Saracino, Andrea Bianconi, Borinquen Gallo, Verdiana Patacchini, Paolo Pelosini and Alessandro Del Pero. They work in digital art, sculptures, paintings and installations, including Gallo's 3-by-20-foot "Stitched Bridge" piece made of rags, wire and paper, detail pictured here.
