The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) announced that the Italian Baseball and Softball Federation (FIBS) will host the WBSC U-15 Women's Softball World Cup 2025 from June 27 to July 5 in Bollate and Caronno Pertusella, in the Lombardia Region.
Bollate is a city with 36,000 inhabitants in Milan's Metropolitan area, about 11 kilometres (6.8 miles) north of the city centre. It is the home of Bollate 1969, the defending Italian Softball League champions and Italy's most decorated women's softball club, with 14 league titles and a widely recognized player development programme. Bollate 1969 manages a four-field softball facility (pictured above), including two international-standard fields.
