LSU Museum of Art to host Masquerade on the Mississippi on March 26

Don't forget to grab a mask before heading to the ball on Thursday (March 26). The LSU Museum of Art is hosting a Venetian masquerade in celebration of its current exhibitions inspired by the Italian city, and tickets are still available.
The soiree will toast two specific exhibitions: "An American in Venice: James McNeill Whistler and His Legacy" and "Traces: The Art of Sandra Russell Clark." Simultaneously, the event also celebrates the museum's 10th anniversary at the Shaw Center. The masquerade is part of an ongoing effort at the museum to bring in new people through its doors.
