EXCLUSIVE LIVE EVENT FROM ITALY! Join us on Saturday, November 21, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a conversation (in English) with the Giusti Family, the world's oldest producer of Aceto Balsamico di Modena. Register here. The "Great Deposit of Balsamic Vinegar of Giuseppe Giusti" is the oldest acetaia of the world, founded in 1605 in the town of Modena, in Emilia Romagna, Italy.
More than 400 years have passed since the ancestors of the Giusti family started the first batteries of barrels in the attics of their home in Via Farini. Today, the historic vinegar factory is led with passion, enthusiasm and innovative momentum from the 17th generation of the family: Claudio Stefani Giusti proudly carries on the family tradition.
Claudio will guide you through the Giusti Museum, a thematic itinerary in 10 rooms that tells the millennial history of Balsamic Vinegar, the secrets of production. A journey through time and space, in the priceless heritage of objects and documents preserved for generations: from the ancient jars used for conservation, to the tools used over the centuries by vinegars, up to the first bottles and advertising brochures of the early twentieth century.
