
To wrap up the celebration of La Corsa dei Ceri, the Lackawanna Historical Society will host a presentation and book signing for “Images of Modern America: Italians of Lackawanna County” by Stephanie Longo at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 10 at the Catlin House, 232 Monroe Ave.
The book features color images of the Italian community in Lackawanna County, from businesses and restaurants to festivals and organizations. Longo will give a brief presentation, highlighting the rich Italian heritage of Lackawanna County and be available to sign copies of her book. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
