The Rome-based ONDADURTO TEATRO will make its U.S. debut with its newest work TERRAMIA, a multi-media performance art spectacle that takes an irreverent look at humanity through the eyes of an android. This original work, accessible to a mixed international audience, uses text, movement, video, music and innovative scenography designed by creators Marco Paciotti and Lorenzo Pasquali, inspired by Physical Theatre, the Nouveau Cirque and Gesture Theatre.

Rome's Il Messagero described TERRAMIA as "...an investigation about identity, or rather about its absence, in a crescendo of video-projections and notes, interspersed with an original soundrack and well known pieces of music, in order to drag the audience into a timeless noir." A common feature of each of Paciotti and Pasquali's characters is the solemn march and progression, in a series of tableaux, towards a loss of the individual, an identity that becomes increasingly liquid and changeable. The company's signature techniques include physical theatre, dance, machinery and large moving objects.

ONDADURTO TEATRO was founded in 2005 by Marco Paciotti and Lorenzo Pasquali. From its inception, the research and the works of the Rome-based ONDADURTO TEATRO has been focused on Physical Theatre, the Nouveau Cirque and Gesture Theatre. The various techniques and modes of expression create a high-impact visual language, one that is capable of creating a dialogue with people of all ages, ethnicities and cultures. Ondadurto's works are equally successful at home and internationally. The Company has performed in France, Spain, Denmark, Hungary, Chile, South Korea, Russia, and more. They have also initiated cooperation and excharge projects in Thailand, India and Cuba.
