By now you have heard that the president of Notre Dame, under pressure from students and Native American groups, has agreed to cover up murals of Christopher Columbus. Executive Board Member of the Italian American One Voice Coalition Andre DiMino has been speaking about this issue on sixteen different radio stations all week- including the Indiana Radio Network. The state Notre Dame calls home.
What can you do? Sign the petition here. IAOVC has co-sponsored the Young Americans for Freedom. They are students at Notre Dame and our official petition to reverse Fr. Jenkins decision to cover up the famous Christopher Columbus Murals in the Main Building on campus (the Dome). Please push out the petition to anyone you think might join us in fighting back against this wrongly made decision.
