
Mayor Jeanne Marie Napolitano and the Newport City Council invite the public to join them at a reception on Friday, October 9 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm in the lobby of the Gateway Center at 23 America’s Cup Avenue to welcome members of a delegation visiting from Newport’s Sister City, Imperia, Italy. Light refreshments will be served.
There will be six people representing Imperia, Italy visiting Newport from October 8- October 13 in conjunction with Newport’s Festa Italiana and the Columbus Day Celebrations. Representatives include Imperia Mayor Carlo Capacci, Councilor Gianfranca Mezzera and her husband Mr. Fulvio Vassallo; Councilor Richard Ghigliazza; Councilor Dr. Alessandro Casano and Mr. Fulvio Giribaldi.
