Sons & Daughters Of Italy is holding a drive-up and drop off food collection to benefit the St. Thomas More food pantry. The food collection will be held Saturday between 9 am and 1 pm at St. Thomas Church, 12 Hollywood Avenue, Fairfield. President of Sons & Daughters of Italy, Dan Scirica, said that giving back to communities is one of the reasons he and his family are part of the organization.
“Fundraisers are a huge part of what we do as an organization,” Scirica said. “Fundraisers are a part of what we do as an organization so that we can come together as a club with friends and families. Not only do we enjoy ourselves socially, but it makes us grateful that we can be a part of giving back.
