He’s going from a crime family to a political family. Veteran actor Michael Imperioli, who starred in the classic HBO mob drama "The Sopranos" has signed on to play Gov. Cuomo in upcoming Showtime limited series "Escape at Dannemora," Variety reported Thursday morning.
The eight-hour series is based on the June 2015, escape of convicted killers Richard Matt, 48, and David Sweat, 35, from the Clinton Correctional Facility in upstate Dannemora and the three-week manhunt that followed.
