The Southington chapter of Unico has chosen Michael Fasulo to receive its 2014 Gold Medal. Fasulo, chairman of the Board of Park Commissioners and a community volunteer, is scheduled to receive the award at the Unico's dinner May 20 at the Aqua Turf Club.
"Mike is a very dedicated person in the community, very well-liked ... an outstanding person in the church," said Nicholas Botsacos, Unico board chairman. Fasulo attends St. Thomas Church, serving on the finance board and as an usher. "Mike gives above and beyond in everything he does," Botsacos said.
