The Verona Chapter of UNICO National, the nation’s largest Italian-American service organization, is proud to announce the recipients of this year’s scholarships. Scholarship applications were sent to Verona High School, Mount Saint Dominic, Seton Hall Prep and St. Peter’s Jersey City.

Twenty-seven applications were received, so awarding six scholarships was a challenge. The Scholarship Committee once again was impressed with the caliber of high school students and enjoyed reading their letters of recommendations and essays. One student even wrote about Italian-American Dr. Fauci.
