The XI Italian Film Festival is here

Apr 03, 2017 774

Hard to believe that this is our 11th edition, but our traditional Italian Film Festival is here! Dubbed as the most relevant annual event for Italian culture and community in Atlanta, the Festival is at its 11th edition. This initiative is funded and fostered by the amazing Claudio Di Persia. As primary sponsor of the Film Festival, Ciancia has been able to arrange an incredible 50% discount on the movie tickets for all of its members. The ticket office will have an updated list of our members.

This discount is individual and does not extend to non-members or to family members or friends, unless they are subscriber members of Ciancia. The Festival is a chance to immerse oneself in the spirit of Italian culture. We will be in the lobby with an information desk and a subscriber’s register. I hope you capitalize on this incredible offer and come in droves this year.

The dates are: Friday, April 21, to Sunday April 23, 2017, featuring six unreleased (in the US) Italian films in competition – with two film screenings a day. This is a selection of the best Italian films produced during the 2016-2017 season, including entries from Venice Film Festival as well as Award Winners at other prestigious Festivals. All movies are in Italian with English subtitles!

Location: The Plaza Theatre, an Atlanta landmark and the city's longest continuously operating movie theatre.

Tickets: Single Movie Ticket $12 - Movie Passport $25 (for six movies) – Ciancia members and members of The Dante Alighieri Society pay $6.00 - Guaranteed seat in all 6 screenings, including opening and closing films.
