The director and actors from "The Last American Guido," an independent comedy partially shot throughout Hudson County, will hold a meet-and-greet at Bocelli's Italian Deli in the Jersey City Heights on Friday at noon. "The Last American Guido" was released in 2014 and tells the story of a former nightclub legend who is now an aging deli owner. After discovering his fiancĂ©'s affair, he tries to get his mojo back.

The film was primarily shot in Jersey City and also filmed in parts of Hoboken, like Losurdo Brothers Deli and Bakery on Second Street. Other scenes were filmed in Bayonne, Nutley and Maywood, according to director Vito LaBruno, a Jersey City native and current police officer who works in the Criminal Warrants Squad/U.S. Marshal's Task Force for Jersey City.
