
UNICO of Pittsfield, a non-profit Italian-American service organization, will induct five Berkshire County athletes into the UNICO Berkshire County Baseball and Softball Hall of Fame on Friday at 6 p.m. at the Berkshire Hills Country Club.
Those to be inducted include Randy Driscoll, a four-year member of the Lee High School baseball team which won three Western Massachusetts championships included a state championship finalist. He went on to play at American International College and upon graduation was signed by the New York Mets organization. Also included is Rick Flynn, who played for three years at Pittsfield High School where his team won the Western Massachusetts championship and was also a state championship finalist. He continued his baseball career at the University of Massachusetts.
