Ciao from ... somewhere in the US! As October is the Italian Heritage month, I'm travelling around the East Coast and the Midwest to celebrate Italy in the US, the Italian Americans and meeting a lot of friends of We the Italians! What a wonderful, sparkling, enthusiast community is, that of the Italian Americans! I love it

I've been marching for the third year in a row on the 5th avenue of Manhattan for the Columbus Parade ... looking at the people recognizing the We the Italians banner has been fantastic! I love the Parade, the people gives me such a wonderful feeling of love for Italy that I bring it back with me when I get home and it lasts for one entire year!

I also attended the beautiful NIAF Gala: a couple of thousands of important, committed Italian Americans celebrating Italy in DC, in an event that every year amazes me. I gotta say, I think the guys at NIAF do an excellent job. They are not the only ones, but they certainly do! I also had the privilege to present my book during the NIAF Gala weekend, an opportunity we the Italians is very proud of.

In this trip I already had the honor and pleasure to do a second presentation in Fairfield, New Jersey, with my friends at UNICO National: another fantastic dedicated community of Italian Americans. We the Italians will help two different fundraisings, organized by UNICO and by the Italian American Museum, to choose the goal where to dedicate the funds they are raising to help the people in Lazio after the earthquake. We are very proud to be able to help, give our hand to link Italy and the US for this reason too.

Other exciting presentations are coming along in these very days: maybe some have already happened while you are reading this editorial. I'll be on October 17 in St. Louis, MO; October 18 and 19 in Chicago, IL; October 20 in Milwaukee; October 22 in Philadelphia; October 27 in Westchester, NY, October 28 in Boston, MA and October 29 in Providence, RI. Between October 22 and October 27, I will travel elsewhere in the US for a huge happening for We the Italians, a private one: but make no mistake, you all will know what is this about very soon, and we're very excited about this!

November should be a month of great renovations for We the Italians, finally. So please, stay tuned, exciting news are ahead.
