Hudson County officials hosted the Annual Columbus Square Park Wreath Laying and Flag Raising Ceremony for the public on Thursday. Attendees gathered under the gazebo to share memories about Columbus Park and to honor some of Hoboken’s most prominent Italian Americans.
There was also a musical presentation from the Hoboken High Rockin’ Redwings Band and a Presentation of Colors from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office Color Guard. Speakers included Mayor Ravi Bhalla, Anthony L. Romano and Hudson County Executive Thomas A. Degise.
