Italian American Association plans 37th annual Columbus Day banquet

The 37th annual Columbus Day banquet sponsored by the Italian-American Association of Luzerne County will be held Oct. 12 at Genetti Hotel and Convention Center, downtown Wilkes-Barre.
Herman Castellani, association president, announced this year's honorees are: Person of the Year, attorney John Terrana; Lifetime Achievement Award, Lori Nocito, and Italian Heritage Award, Charles Valenti. Guest speaker will be Judge A. Richard Caputo. Toastmaster is attorney Philip Gelso.
