Columbus Day Dinner
October is Italian Heritage Month in Iowa and to celebrate the Italian American Cultural Center of Iowa will hold the 38th annual Columbus Day Dinner Party on Sunday, October 13, 2013.
Event details will be announced when final arrangements are completed.
Columbus Day Memorial Observance
At 11:00 AM on Monday, October 14, 2013, the 75th annual observance of Columbus Day will be held at Iowa's Columbus monument, located on the south lawn of the Iowa State Capitol. Everyone is invited to attend and support the unity of the Des Moines area Italian-American community.
