Something suspicious will be going on as people dine at the Hoof & Horn for a post-Valentine’s Day dinner.Affluent strangers will be serving food and walking around, interacting with patrons, establishing a rapport with them right before someone gets murdered. It’s all part of the night for the Levity Players Group, a Leavenworth, Kansas,-based dinner theater troupe, who tour with family-friendly seasonal shows, mixing comedy with drama and mystery.
The group’s latest show, “A Saint Valentine’s Day Murder Mystery or Rubout at Uncle Vinny’s,” starring Brett Morris, Nathan Goss, Romy Mendez and Jenny and Stephanie Jones, will be performed at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20. Founded by professional actor Greg Marino, the group began in 2004 as the Leavenworth Players Group before re-branding and hitting the road as an interactive dinner theater experience.
