Nassau County Legislator Delia DeRiggi-Whitton recently honored Angelo and Kathryn Grande for their decades-long work in helping to preserve Italian heritage and culture. The Grandes have been active members of the Order Sons of Italy in America Loggia Glen Cove #1016 for more than 40 years.
Kathryn and Angelo served as Loggia President from 2000 to 2002 and 2004 to 2006, respectively. Throughout their tenure with the Loggia, they have remained focused on preserving the rich heritage and culture of Italy, which includes organizing displays, meetings, speakers, fundraisers and many other events.
