Alamance County performers will participate in the second annual Italian street festival, Festa Italiana, from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday on Tucker Street and North Boylan Avenue. Tenor Charles Beard and master pianist and composer Dr. Charles Hogan will perform a selection of Bel Canto and Neapolitan classics.
Mebanesville, which includes Sherry White Lea of Graham; Don Porter; Fernando Suarez Gonzalez; Larry Vellani; and Peggy Boswell, all of Mebane; Jane Davis of Hillsborough; Anthony Holderied and Iryna Tkachenko, both of Carrboro-Chapel Hill, will perform. Mebanesville co-founder, Larry Vellani, will serve as the Master of Ceremonies.
