October 13 (Thursday) 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Critical Made in Italy Part I: A Panel on Design. Presented in connection to the "Settimana della lingua italiana," the panel embraces the 2016 theme (The Italian Language and Creativity: Brands and Habits, Fashion and Design) through two presentations: "Italian Design as a Form of Life" by Daniele Balicco (EHESS Ecole des hautes études en sciences sociales 2016-17) and "The Marshall Plan, Milano, MoMA, Memphis: A Brief History of Italian Design" by Wava Carpenter (Editor in Chief, Pamono).
