Throughout his lifetime Antonio Meucci was responsible for many inventions, improvements, and ideas. These innovations included smokeless candles, a tea and coffee filtering system, oil/kerosene lamps, and most notably, the telephone.

In keeping with the legacy of inventor Antonio Meucci (1808-1889), the Garibaldi-Meucci Museum is pleased to announce the 2022 Young Inventors’ Competition. All finalists will be notified by April 21. The final competition will be held virtually on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
