Lombardi Family Concepts will open Taverna Laguna Beach the first week of March in the restored Laguna Federal Savings and Loan Building. "We are thrilled to open Taverna in Laguna Beach," Alberto Lombardi said in a statement. "Our first restaurant in California will be a special place where customers feel at home."

Lombardi Family Concepts is headquartered in Dallas, with additional restaurants in Las Vegas, Austin, Houston and most recently, in Akumal, Mexico. The 4,500-square-foot restaurant will seat 125 people. The Italian restaurant will feature homemade pastas and wood fired pizzas.
