Italian food and calories usually go hand-in-hand, but a new Clawson eatery — set to open in July — won't be so harsh on your waistline. Zeoli’s Modern Italian, at 110 E. 14 Mile Road, is housed in a larger Regeneration Clothing store, which downsized its space and remains next door.
Chef/owner, Scott Brown, who used his wife’s maiden name as its moniker, worked for Lily’s Seafood in Royal Oak for 13 years. He is striking out on his own with a concept described as modern Italian, with the emphasis on lighter food targeting health-conscious diners.
