Spring is the top season of the year for consumer spending at restaurants across the Boston area, according to data on local business transactions from Womply, a provider of software and email marketing services for small businesses. Daily spending at Boston-area restaurants grew to $825,855 for the metro area in the spring of last year, 11% higher than the average for the rest of the year.
