Just a few short months after Not Your Average Joe's moved out, Italian-inspired Evviva Cucina has moved in, opening its doors to the public on Tuesday. The Evviva Cucina menu features everything from appetizers, salads and sandwiches to specialty pasta, entrees and two kinds of pizza made in a wood stone oven. "The Evvivapolitan is a traditional Neapolitan-Style pizza," said Evviva Cucina president and partner Nick Harron. "And then there's the La Montanara, which is flash fried, which has gives it a sweet, airy crust."
The restaurant serves lunch and dinner. "We have one menu all day," said Harron, noting that there are also full gluten-free and kids menus available. Though there's a location in Westford and another that will be opening in Marlborough, everything about Evviva Cucina screams local. Steez Design down on Washington Street crafted the table at the entrance. The pasta is made fresh at Pasta Via Corte in Gloucester.
