Reading's Italian food scene just got a little bit tastier at Fusilli Cucina at 107 Main Street in Reading. The restaurant, formerly known as Sam's Bistro, is still owned by Michael Palmer, who also operates Stearns and Hill in Melrose.
"The change of name from Sam's to Fusilli Cucina was planned as Sam's approached its five-year anniversary," Palmer said. "We wanted a family-friendly atmosphere where people can gather to enjoy traditional Italian American food. In making these menu changes, we also changed the dining room a bit."
