Amici, which means “friends” in Italian, will open its first Atlanta location on Tuesday, March 15, in The Mark, a new 28-story, 230-unit student housing building, at 955 Spring St., according to a press release Wednesday. “We have always had a goal to open a location in Atlanta, and we want this Amici to be the Flagship of our brand,” Mike Torino, CEO, said.
“Not only will this be a great location for students, but our recipe of food, friends and fun will translate just as well from our guests in Madison, Ga., to those in Atlanta.” Amici will brew its own beer out of its 4,000 square-foot restaurant. The 20 barrel small-batch brewery system has the tanks positioned behind the bar and will brew house beers according to the seasons and preferences of local guests.
