When temperatures start to rise, hearty cuisine like creamy pasta dishes and sandwiches brimming with savory meats tend to get replaced by much lighter bites like salads, veggie-filled wraps and dishes loaded with fresh fruit. But at Atlanta's Bellina Alimentari, which is located inside of Ponce City Market, the Italian restaurant has managed to introduce a seasonal menu that incorporates both Italian classics and summer staples like fresh peaches.
With a motto that boasts "Food as a way of life," Bellina Alimentari is known for its sourcing of ingredients, which are purchased from local farmers or are imported from Italy. "Bellina Alimentari is inspired by cafes and alimentari shops in northern Italy, founded on the belief that every meal should be a healthy and delicious experience; made with fresh, high-quality ingredients," a statement on the restaurant's website reads.
