This authentic Italian restaurant welcomes its first guests for dinner service on Thursday. Sensi — Italian for senses — aims to transport guests with the overall experience, from flavors to ambiance. “I want people coming in to feel Italy. To experience it. That food and atmosphere,” says Eduardo de Bury, owner.
It is located in the Rea Farms development in south Charlotte. A native of Naples, Italy, de Bury and business partners have invested roughly $1.5 million into that 3,500-square-foot space in Lincoln Harris’ mixed-used development. “I love this part of the U.S. It’s booming. It’s beautiful,” he says.
