After a two-year hiatus, Cristiano Cosa breaks his silence and returns to releasing his music, with renewed maturity and style, to tell the stories of those who experience moving to a big city like New York, which has always been the subject of dreams and big changes.

"L'Ultima Sera," already part of the original soundtrack of Davide Ippolito's docufilm New York Solo Andata, produced by LuckyHorn Entertainment and coming out on Prime Video, is precisely about those who accept the fate of being "uprooted" from their paradise, paraphrasing the lyrics, to travel a road made of aspirations and possibilities, still offered by the star-studded environment.

The new single is available on all major streaming platforms and with official video clip on YouTube starting Oct. 27, 2023.

The song, which was played live as a preview at the Italian Cultural Institute in New York on the occasion of the film's world premiere, represents an artistic evolution for the Apulian singer-songwriter, who has worked hard to bring to life a song that points straight to the heart of anyone who lives, or has already lived, an expat experience, like that of the film's protagonists.

Cristiano Cosa did not fail to share his excitement about the new single and his experience in the Big Apple: "I don't want to be rhetorical, but when I heard that I would be taking part in this project, I started trembling inside: I didn't think it could ever happen so soon for me to sing in the States. What's more, a song for a soundtrack, presented on a prestigious stage on Park Avenue. I'm really excited and happy with what transpired in the creative phase and in the studio: when I started writing, I hadn't seen any footage yet. I had been given input and some plot spoilers, without seeing anything. I began to study and become passionate about the history of migration, to document the Italian diaspora, to ask many friends what it meant to move abroad and to miss one's country of origin. I experienced this feeling musically and ideally. Apparently, from the feedback we received, we got it!"

Just like the docufilm, the production of the single was handled by the Italian-American production company LuckyHorn Entertainment, with offices in Italy and the United States, headed by executive producer Simone D'Andria, who, for the occasion, relied on the hands of professional Francesco Gaudio, artistic producer and co-writer of the song, as well as mix and mastering engineer.
